Robert Wavra

Self-taught artist Robert J. Wavra has developed his talent and style over many years of painting throughout his life. While he has painted in a variety of mediums, styles, and genres, Bob focused on becoming an accomplished landscape and wildlife artist.

Bob has enjoyed the outdoors since youth. He spent considerable time in the countryside to observe and learn about nature and wildlife. Those experiences gave him a deep respect and sincere appreciation of nature and the outdoors, inspiring him to creatively express himself through art.

Photographs taken during extensive travel throughout North America and visits to U.S. and Canadian national parks have provided him with artistic subject matter. Bob tries to capture a time, a place, a feeling or a particular subject that will stimulate the feelings and emotions of fellow nature lovers.

National and international private art collectors have acquired his work. Select original paintings are available on the retail market, including limited-edition and open-edition prints. His artwork also appears on numerous retail products sold nationally and internationally.

Bob currently lives in Kokomo, Indiana.
