Wayne Pruse, founder of Impact Gallery, is an artist and art instructor with more than 200 paintings in print.
Pruse was born in Cleveland, OH, and raised in Silver Bay, MN. His graphic arts education led to work in Bismarck, ND, where his professional career began as a graphic designer and illustrator. He also produced freelance artwork and sold his work at art fairs across the Midwest. Pruse launched the art/art marketing department at United Tribes Technical College. As department chair and teacher during an 18-year span, he led students to create a volume of public art.
Pruse sculpted a life-sized horse and painted a mural in the Medora, ND, Cowboy Hall of Fame. Harvard University in Boston, MA, commissioned Pruse to paint a thunderstorm ceiling mural.
